מה התוסף עושה
PDF Shrinker מכווץ קבצי PDF גדולים (מעל 3MB) ישירות בדפדפן, באמצעות מנוע כיווץ
(Ghostscript WebAssembly) המובנה בתוך חבילת התוסף עצמה.
איסוף ושימוש במידע
- הקבצים שלכם לעולם אינם עוזבים את המחשב. הכיווץ מתבצע כולו בזיכרון הדפדפן המקומי. התוסף אינו מבצע שום בקשת רשת — לא לשרתי Koogler ולא לשום צד שלישי.
- אין איסוף נתונים. התוסף אינו אוסף פרטים אישיים, היסטוריית גלישה, נתוני שימוש, אנליטיקה או טלמטריה מכל סוג.
- אין עוגיות ואין מזהים.
- אחסון זמני בלבד: במהלך כיווץ נשמרים באחסון המקומי של הדפדפן (session storage ו־IndexedDB) אך ורק נתוני המשימה — שם הקובץ, גודלו והתקדמות הכיווץ — כדי שחלונית התוסף תציג מצב עדכני. מידע זה נשאר במחשב שלכם בלבד ונמחק אוטומטית בסיום העבודה או בסגירת הדפדפן.
הרשאות התוסף
offscreen — מאפשרת להריץ את הכיווץ ברקע כך שלא ייקטע כשחלונית התוסף נסגרת.storage — שמירת מצב משימת הכיווץ באופן מקומי וזמני, כמתואר לעיל.
התוסף אינו מבקש גישה לאתרים, לתוכן גלישה או לנתונים אחרים בדפדפן.

PDF Shrinker does not collect, store, or transmit any data. All file processing happens locally on your computer.
What the extension does
PDF Shrinker compresses large PDF files (over 3MB) directly in your browser, using a
compression engine (Ghostscript WebAssembly) bundled inside the extension package itself.
Data collection and use
- Your files never leave your computer. Compression runs entirely in local browser memory. The extension makes no network requests — not to Koogler's servers, not to any third party.
- No data collection. No personal information, browsing history, usage data, analytics, or telemetry of any kind.
- No cookies, no identifiers.
- Temporary local storage only: during compression, the job's state (file name, size, progress) is kept in the browser's local storage (session storage and IndexedDB) so the popup can display up-to-date status. This stays on your computer only and is deleted automatically when the job is done or the browser closes.
Extension permissions
offscreen — runs the compression in the background so it isn't interrupted when the popup closes.storage — temporary local job state, as described above.
The extension does not request access to websites, browsing content, or any other browser data.
Third-party sharing
None. Since no data is collected, there is nothing to share, sell, or transfer.
